I firmly believe that design should be, first and foremost, functional. Sure, it should look good, but more importantly it should be useful and easy to understand for all users. Every project I start begins with an in-depth research phase, where I make sure I understand my clients' needs and that they understand the importance of designing something functional and attractive.
